Ding-Dong the Wicked Antipope is Dead

Just one.

Pick just one of the errors, the heresies, the apostatic crimes, the cover-ups, the true felonies, the open persecutions of the just and faithful.

Anyone of them is egregious in and of itself. Taken as a totality, what is left to conclude than that Jorge Bergoglio, aka. “Pope Francis” was a scourge to the Church and a disaster as a recognized pontiff?

The wreckage is really astounding when you take a look at it. To gain further appreciation of what Francis wrought, I went back to a rather efficacious design/t-shirt I made back in 2019, about halfway through the ecclesial penance that the Peronist antipope brought.

I say efficacious because it, in part, got me fired from two positions at schools whose administrations, all of a sudden, became ardent papists under Pope Francis. Go figure.

Examine just a few of the assertions above:

Ex. 1: Suppression of the Belgian Fraternity of the Holy Apostles (Fraternité des Saints Apôtres) in Belgium. Bergoglio was so upset by the operations of this traditional society that in April 2018, he ordered their faculties removes and their facilities closed. Mind you, that all of Belgium had not produced a single, native vocation to the priesthood for years prior to the operation of the French import fraternity. At the time of its arbitrary dissolution, the FHA or FSA had 23 seminarians and thousands of donors and devotees in generally godless Brussels. Tell me then, would a godly, true pope do any such thing?

Ex. 2: Laudato Si, the encyclical. Not only does Bergoglio elevate eco-obsession and Gaia worship to a moral imperative, he goes so far as to display his globalist bona fides, medals he would parade before anyone who cared for the rest of his anti-pontificate. Read for yourself, directly from paragraph 175:

“The same mindset which stands in the way of making radical decisions to reverse the trend of global warming also obstructs the achievement of the goal of eliminating poverty. A more responsible overall approach is needed to deal with both problems: the reduction of pollution and the development of poorer countries and regions. The twenty-first century, while maintaining systems of governance inherited from the past, is witnessing a weakening of the power of nation states, chiefly because the economic and social sectors, under the command of multinational interests, are prevailing over the political. Hence, in the face of this situation, it becomes indispensable to create stronger and more efficiently organized international institutions, with functionaries who are appointed fairly by agreement among national governments, and empowered to impose sanctions.“

This has the cacophonous echoes of early 19th century progressives like Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Croly, and John Dewey. The old, somewhat organic arrangement of nations and sovereignties are simply inadequate to deal with the supposedly existential crisis of “global warming” just as the federal restraints of the 1789 Constitution ought to be discarded in favor of centralization in Washington, since Jefferson and Madison never saw an assembly line. Because if there is one lesson to take from the modern era, centralized states and empires are bastions of individual rights and liberties. Feel free to pause your reading here to laugh out loud. Truth is Bergoglio not just fell hook, line and sinker for every con-artist and hoax prominent in his life, he became a passionate advocate for all of them! I have not even gotten to Covid yet, because it was in 2020, but wow. Just wow.

Ex. 3: Chilean abuse. Marko Rupnik was not the first nor last of the serial sexual abusers that Pope Francis shielded and even, in the case of Rupnik and “Uncle Ted” McCarrick, promoted during is hellish tenure. Even when faithful Slovenians, Americans and Chileans howled and demanded that the demonic deviants be removed from ministry, defrocked and put in jail–justice is a thing, despite Bergoglio’s constant denial of it–the abusers received shelter and approval in Francis church. In Osorno, Chile, Francis-appointee Bishop Juan Barros Madrid not only covered for serial pederast Fernando Karadima, but victims claimed that he was present during the crimes. Bergoglio defamed lay Chileans in Osorno, calling their allegations, “slander”. A pope for the poor and dispossessed, my ass.

Then there are the thought-crimes. Bergoglio rewrote the Catechism on the death penalty. Bergoglio struck out lines of Our Lord Jesus in Scripture of the Pater Noster. Bergoglo peddled in anti-Decalogue, politics and economics of envy and resentment. As Thomas Sowell put it:

“Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it. The most fundamental fact about the ideas of Marxism is that none of them have worked anywhere in the world, and yet they continue to be believed because they appeal to the resentments of some people against others who are better off.”
