Still President

Is there anything more galling than the media establishment insisting that there are no credible instances of fraud in the election just as the accounts of outright criminality mount to the point of being innumerable?

Perhaps Joe Robinette Biden and his sidekick who he advocated should not get bused to a white school, appearing and talking about “unity”? You know, “unity” with the same 70 million people they called–not 10 days ago–ugly, boorish, and downright evil?

What the election proves is that this is a banana republic seemingly run by elites who project preserving the god of ‘democracy’ while in reality thwarting the clear will of the people by slamming their elite collective hand on the voting scale.

So what should Trump do while he is still the president, whether the coup officially takes place in January or an actual, legal vote count determines what we all really know–that he won on November 3?

Lew Rockwell has all of the answers, and they all involve smashing the Deep State that hates the American people almost as much as it hates the OrangeMan.

I find it funny that so-called Libertarians always advocate for freedom and democracy, but never pass up the opportunity to latch on to Donny’s teet and give it a good suckles. Trump’s lawsuits are unprecedented and have absolutely no backing. Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s infamous attorney, said himself in court, “this is not a fraud case” and Trump’s lawyers, when actually testifying under oath, not able to restate his brash statements, have to admit there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. Court case after court case, Trump’s lawyers are laughed at because they simply have no backing for their claims (oh, and you can’t claim a liberal bias because many of them were appointed by W Bush). U.S. District Judge Matthew Brannk, speaking on Pennsylvania’s election process, said to Trump’s legal team, “This is simply not how the Constitution works.” and I know how much you Libertarians love to cite the Constitution as the static supreme law of the land. I’m happy to leave some sources for you to read, but I’m sure you’re too busy licking Trump’s boots clean to actually read any real sources. I’ll leave you with some facts from the WaPo:
“What Trump says: “I WON THE ELECTION. VOTER FRAUD ALL OVER THE COUNTRY!” (Nov. 18)

    “ … There were massive improprieties and fraud … ” (Nov. 17)

What his lawyers say: Appearing in a Pennsylvania courtroom Tuesday in the state’s biggest case, Trump lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani conceded, “This is not a fraud case.”

In the same case, a judge asked Trump lawyer Linda Kerns whether she would “agree with me that you are not proceeding based on allegations of fraud or misconduct; is that correct?” Kerns responded, “I am not proceeding on those allegations.”

In Montgomery County, Pa., Trump lawyer Jonathan S. Goldstein was asked by a judge, “Are you claiming that there is any fraud in connection with these 592 disputed ballots?” Goldstein responded: “To my knowledge at present, no.”

In Maricopa County, Ariz., home to Phoenix, Trump lawyer Kory Langhofer said, “We are not alleging fraud in this lawsuit. … This is not about fraud.”

And in a joint stipulation signed by the Trump campaign’s lawyers this week in Bucks County, Pa., they acknowledged that they had no evidence of fraud”

    • Your post, due to its unnecessary length and in the end pointless thoughts remind me of the work of a former colleague of mine who wrote and speaks just like you did in your post above, in the most vapid and inconsequential of ways. Of course, in education, he got promoted and enjoys the comforts of the idiot echo chamber.

First, my libertarian bona fides are secure. I have been intensely critical of Trump when he has turned hawkish and for the myriad of policies (like a national lockdown) that strike at basic and fundamental rights. https://hoth2ohistory.com/extraordinary-history-current-events-blog/hawks-by-any-other-name-and-clothing/

On your other drivel, what difference does it make if several of Trump’s lawyers in court–in specific cases–aren’t asserting fraud? The fact is that Sidney Powell and Giuliani are asserting not just fraud but a grand conspiracy. And Trump himself is messaging supporters to overturn presumptive results in swing states USING THE WORD ‘FRAUD’. https://drive.google.com/file/d/12XLkW2nOn4Q2Jdph8gGCK_B-Bcbc4avi/view?usp=sharing

Finally, the Washington Post sucks. It drove the false narrative (for 3 years mind you) of the Russiagate conspiracy, which good journalists on the left like Glenn Greenwald stated was a deep state coup from the beginning. Great newspaper. And George W. Bush and his justices suck too. Are you such a binary thinker as to believe that they are conservative in any real sense of that term?

Leave it to Lew to knock it out of the park. Trump should already have a long list of people to pardon, in the event he doesn’t prevail in the 2020 election. It astounds me how few Americans know what the Constitution says about the Electoral College. If I might be a bit presumptuous for a moment, check out The Institute on the Constitution – https://theamericanview.com/.

  4. Keep them coming, i.e. keep throwing up idiotic claims your undergrad poli-sci teacher told you that everyone on Zoom nodded to, and I’ll keep shooting them down.

  5. Disappointed. I cannot believe someone like you educated students. “Historian” my butt, honestly. THERE IS SO MUCH EVIDENCE that he lost. Republican senators and representatives have acknowledged that Trump lost. I cannot believe you bought into the lies a well-known liar said. I guess anyone can be an “intellectual”

    • By my count–rough estimate–well over 2000 students. All of them, even after a severe head injury, much, much brighter than you.

There’s, like oh my god, so much evidence, actually, honestly that the election was a sham:

      • Katherine says:

How hilarious is it to see that the supposed ‘evidence’ is coming from a far-right opinion-based blog. It’s funny to see the far-rights lose it. Voter fraud obviously exist. It won’t change change the election results. I’d assume you’d be more intelligent.

        • Katherine the not so great’s argument is so typical of the progressive-leftist echo chamber.

The anatomy of Katherine the Lesser’s/their arguments are as follows:
I can’t refute the actual data, information or argument of a source, so I’ll just label it ‘far-right opinion based’ and therefore it is null and void. Never mind that, of course, Slate, Vox and The Atlantic are universally authoritative.
Next, I rejoice in seeing political opponents ‘lose it’ because I’m all about imposing my statist, elitist views and behaviors upon everyone else.
Then, because I anticipate that there are more than just ‘far-right sources’ asserting voter fraud and election larceny, I’ll go ahead and admit that such fraud exists.
BUT, the ends justifies the means after all–you libertarians and conservatives should just bow low because the election is a fait-accompli.
Finale: Back handed complement–you’re really not that dumb, as to want justice and freedom, are you?

    The steal is SO on!

This was so laughable. Last night the New York Times posted an article with this headline:
“The Times Called Officials in Every State: No Evidence of Voter Fraud”
    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/10/us/politics/voting-fraud.html

Wow! What a shocker! You mean that the very same people responsible for conducting the elections in their respective states said nothing at all went wrong?!

    Come on!

    • Yes.

Have to give it to boomer-cons here–to a degree.

Same Washington shills and CIA operatives who spent 3 out of the past 4 years arguing how $50000 of Russian bot adds on FB stole the 2016 election for Trump are the same people now decrying anyone who doubts that Sleepy Joe got 90% of Milwaukee out to vote and that Philadelphia poll workers with Biden/Harris masks are simply objective public servants.
